Most items are handmade by us from start to finish in our NYC studio!

The rope we use is 100% Poly cord that is coiled and sewn with our vintage Singer zig-zag sewing machine. The rope items are flexible and soft but can hold their form. No two pieces will be identical, but will be similar in color, shape, and size.

We also produce some tufted items in our Studio! This is done by stretching a cotton backing over a frame and using a tufting gun to push wool yarn through the backing. It’s then sealed by natural latex, finished with a canvas backing and edged with binding.

Our other tufted items are produced by a family owned factory in India, handmade by skilled artisans using 100% New Zealand wool yarns.

If a piece is sold out, please contact us at, we may be able to re-create an item for you!

For our 100% Poly rope. We recommend spot cleaning any stains that may occur. Use a mild detergent and be sure to test on an inconspicuous area first! Too much scrubbing can cause the rope to pill, a blotting technique works best. Be careful not to pull or break the thread, as this could cause unraveling. Do not put in dryer as the Poly fiber is heat sensitive.

For our 100% New Zealand Wool, dampen the stain and use a soft towel to soak up the water, then repeat the process until the stain is gone. Be careful not to wet the rug too much, as this can affect the glue and latex which hold the yarns in place. Remember that hand tufted rugs are sensitive to water, so take particular care with the amount of water you use.

Tufted rugs are not suitable as bathmats due to water sensitivity.

A bit of shedding is natural in the first few weeks of owning your rug. We recommend vacuuming your rug once per week to minimize any shedding, maintain the quality of your rug. Sun fading can occur with items that are left in direct sunlight over time.

The customer is responsible for the care of items and we are not liable for damages from improper care or regular wear and tear.

*Please note that all tufted elements contain natural latex.
